In his talk, the former MTV moderator will explain his personal views of the central role which music of the eighties played in the development of the LGBT movement.
As an MTV moderator Steve Blame became an icon for an entire generation. The Brit interviewed over 500 celebrities, among others Madonna, Paul McCartney and the Dalai Lama. He is co-creator of the TV show «Where Is the Monkey?», which was nominated for the Rose d’Or Award, and was Viva 2 programme manager. He also wrote two books, «Getting Lost is Part of the Journey» (2010) and «Zwischen Rotwein, Filetsteak und Popstar-Neurosen» (Between red wine, filet steak and pop star neuroses, 2013).
